Audit Manager

Description:

Gilroy Gannon is a large independent accountancy, consultancy and tax practice based in Sligo. We are experiencing rapid growth and wish to strengthen our team to meet the needs of our diverse client base.

We are seeking to recruit an Audit Manager with at least five year’s post qualification experience in practice. The role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to gain exposure to a broad selection of clients from small owner managed entities to larger companies.

The position is a permanent and full-time role within the Audit, Accounting & Assurance Department.

Requirements
The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant and have at least five years PQE. He/she must have experience of being responsible for a portfolio of clients and possess strong auditing experience.

Qualities Required
The individual should have good interpersonal skills, have a focus on developing a long-term career in practice and be capable of working on their own initiative.

Remuneration
The remuneration package will be commensurate with this senior appointment, with exciting prospects for further advancement

Qualified Audit Seniors

Description:

The Firm
Gilroy Gannon is a leading Business Advisory and Accountancy firm based in Sligo servicing the North West region and beyond. We are a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants with almost 50 years’ experience in providing professional advisory services to a range of clients across various industry sectors.

The Role
We are recruiting qualified audit seniors with at least three year’s post qualification experience in practice. The role will offer successful candidates an opportunity to gain exposure to a broad selection of clients from small owner managed entities to larger companies. The role will include:

  • Company Audit
  • Preparation of audit exempt financial statements
  • Sole Trader and Partnership accounts preparation
  • General Tax compliance
  • General Practice assignments

Requirements
The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant and have at least three year’s PQE. They must have experience of being responsible for a portfolio of clients; possess a good level of auditing experience, have reported directly to a Partner and have drafted reports to Partner for review.

Qualities Required
The individuals should have good interpersonal skills, have a focus on developing a long-term career in practice, capable of working on their own initiative and an ability to report to strict deadlines.
